The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently browsing the Fernie two Community Hall in Mpuluzi to render services to your community.
SASSA will likely be rendering companies such as new social grant applications, change of payment method, client treatment enquiries, and also the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.
In an announcement, the agency stated it can be alarmed with regard to the large number of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The purpose on the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to a substantial number of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.
“This is often due to the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no fully functional office dedicated to service the area regularly. The company place made for intervention activities a substantial influx of possible beneficiaries, that makes it tough to the Workplace to attend to all people who visit a service point.
“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise a lot more methods to help the sassa status check servicing of all customers and boost use of Social Assistance products and services,” the agency said.
